NATIONAL REFORESTATION FUND RAISING INITIATIVE

The World Climate Change Challenge is committed to assisting participating nations and states, raise funds to repatriate their forests.

Recent Research has shown that forest regrowth is extremely good at sequestering carbon. (School of Geography, University of Birmingham)

Furthermore the study states that regrowth forests are expected to be an important driver behind large uptakes of anthropogenic CO2 emissions.

It is therefore important, governments at all levels, in all countries, begin repatriating their deforested areas.

Eventually funds derived from the Inclusion of Forests in a Global Emissions Trading Scheme could be utilized by nations and states to fund the repatriation of these deforested areas.

However it is important that repatriation of deforested areas begin asap.

To meet this need,

THE

WORLD CLIMATE CHANGE CHALLENGE

WILL INITIATE A

'FOREST REPATRIATION

FUND RAISING PROGRAM'

for each nation and state which is participating in the Global Forest ETS Initiative.

RAISING FUNDS FOR REPATRIATING DEFORESTED AREAS

IN PARTICIPATING NATIONS AND STATES

'THE MILLION ACRE PROJECT'

The planting of new trees anywhere in the world is a great Carbon Capture Project. The WCCC aims to raise enough money to rehabilitate 1 million acres of one-time forests back to their original stature by 2025.

The WCCC will work with participating Governments to identify

'Reforestation Projects'

within their borders that are supported by both the government and local community.

The WCCC will then

'Crowd-Fund Globally'

to raise the necessary funds for the local community to replant and maintain new forest growths in these identified tracks of land

3D ANIMATED

GLOBAL SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN

To plug into the world's youth whom are the most concerned about climate change and deforestation, it is important the 'Million Acre Project' utilizes 21st century Social Media channels with 3D animated characters and vision.

The WCCC is developing a set of 12 one minute 3D animated promotional videos, in multiple languages.

It is expected that these promotional animated videos, will be viewed millions of times on Facebook and Youtube, and will dramatically increase the effectiveness of the Million Acre Project Crowd Funding initiatives.

The set of 8 lovable animated characters will, in these animated videos, visit some of the fantastic forests of participating nations, encouraging support  for their expansion and rehabilitation from viewers.

Community Participation

Greenhouse Gases are spread throughout the earth’s atmosphere across every nation, province and city: no place on earth is excluded. Furthermore these greenhouse gases are causing major problems for the communities of every city, province and nation.

Many communities are eager to get involved in the fight against climate change, especially at locations where global warming is already impacting their community. However they are under the false impression Carbon Capture and Storage is only achievable where the community has highly skilled researchers from world class universities, which have access to millions of dollars, for the construction of high tech carbon capture machines.

Nothing could be more wrong…..

Carbon Capture can be achieved anywhere in the world by simply planting a tree.

If you have a Forest Rehabilitation Project within your community you would like to undertake, but you do not have the funds to undertake it, let us know by filling in your details below within the question form and we will see if we can help.

The 2020 Inaugural

Guy Callendar Awards

'Each Community Carbon Capture or Forest Rehabilitation Project will automatically be entered in the

Guy Callendar Awards'

which will draw the world's attention to your project.
